In the quiet outskirts of Paris, far from the city’s constant motion, I spent a tranquil spring morning with French artist Valentine Esteve. As we spoke about her practice, her distinct way of seeing the world, and the dance of light within her work, a deeper theme emerged : creation not just as expression, but as a way of being.
This short film explores the poetic heart of making. For Valentine, art isn’t only about what is made, it’s about how one observes, feels, and navigates life. This is the first chapter in Studio Veive’s ongoing series, Artist as Muse, which invites viewers to discover the inner worlds of contemporary creatives.
